While an insightful comment on the hypocrisy of our society's relationship with pornagraphy is long overdue, this is not it. The artist needs to abandon the predictable and obvious "shock" approach and adopt something smarter. Additionally, self-editing is a necessary part of the creative process. This artist does not appear to know this. The show was self indulgent and self absorbed. At half its length it might have had promise.
A high energy, if somewhay uneven performance by Aaron Bonilla. A little more rehearsal would have really helped, it was somewhat distracting when he had to interupt his own performance to consult his notes! Aaron is a very attractive young man and his act could have benefited by showing some skin! I know the Fresno PD wouldn't put up with actual nudity, but Aaron could certainly have stripped down to the famous boxer shorts he kept alluding to. A mutual friend tells me he has great legs, it would have benn nice to see them.
Twisted, disturbing, dirty, sick and entertaining as hell. Jokes that make you wince as well as chuckle at the demented audacity of it. Daring, bold and refreshing. Celebrates the humanity in universal perversion!!!

This show definitely has its moments. He packed the house- and made it chuckle. And I thought I had horror stories from working in retail!
Before you go...go by the fire station and borrow a turn out suit, this is a hot one! It's raw, full of energy, shocking, and very very funny! Can't stop talking about it. Won't drive by another Adult Book store without thinking about this show! Can't wait to see how he will top this one!
I highly recommend even if he did exagerate alot about his parents!
;P With my regards....your one and only DAD!
yeah, he could have left some of the bad jokes at the door (not cuz they were offensive, they just weren't funny).
I was a bit insulted that a theatre major had to check notes to continue his show...when he checked them, the momentum just stopped.
Having said all that, this is a pretty entertaining and informative show, but if you're going to see it, get there early! They turned away a bunch last show.
Well.......I went expecting a rude comedian, walked away with more information about adult book stores than I care to know. It really lagged in many places which gave me time to think about what he was saying. Pick up the pace Aaron so people have to think about it after they leave the show.
All in all it was a good show, funny in parts but I expected more. Loved the bit about "Shakespear". That will stay with me longer. Who knew how perverce he really was, LOL.
Some funny bits for sure, many of them delivered with good timing and expression. But a whole lot of dead spots too. And that ending was awkward ... Geez, it was a show designed to shock people into laughing uncomfortably at their own inhibitions. Why end it with an I'm OK-You're OK sermon? Meanwhile, I'm just glad he didn't ask for audience participation!
Probably a very tight and funny 30 min show which unfortunately lasted 45 minutes. Needs to be cut, tightened up (which is not an ass joke!) and rehearsed more thoroughly. I was not precisely offended just slightly repulsed and somewhat let down in places.
a few months of indepth rehearsal with an objective outside eye looking in will transform this show into a very good piece. as it is, i enjoyed it. some hits, some misses. but that's what the rogue is about: shows of all calibers. the rogue is meant to be a jumping off point for artists working on a show. polished is great, but more importantly is the fact that new pieces are being tried out on us every year. if you're looking for perfect, move to new york or somewhere the show has been running for 10 years and its soul has been sucked out.
good show except for one disappointment: i wasn't offended once. but then i hang around with jaguar bennett a lot, so perhaps i'm beyond offending.
